ROLES Enrollment Lottery

Wisconsin state law requires a lottery to be held, should applicants to ROLES exceed the number of available seats at each grade level. The lottery will take place on Thursday, May 6th, 9:00-11:30 a.m. at the River Outpost Building on the Riveredge Nature Center grounds. The lottery will use the virtual option above (Google meeting) for the public to attend.
The lottery will begin with the available seats at the 5th grade level. After the 5th grade seats and their siblings are filled, it will be followed by 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, and end with kindergarten.
Preference Groups:
- Currently enrolled students of The Riveredge School
- Children of The Riveredge School teachers and staff, Governance Board members, or school’s founders (not to exceed 10% of the overall enrollment)
- Siblings of currently enrolled students
- Students on the waiting list from the previous year that have submitted an application for the 2021-22 school year
- New student applicants
