Wisconsin public school observance day required by statute. Commemorates the assets that make Wisconsin a desirable place to live and work. Falls on the Wednesday of the third week of September, as part of Wonderful Wisconsin Week. Enacted April 15, 1994, from the 1993 Laws of Wisconsin, Act 333.
